Hey everyone.
Today I would like to introduce a famous Japanese curry restaurant.
Japanese people love curry.
Many people think of curry as their mom's cooking.
I think curry is actually an Indian dish, but why is it so popular in Japan?
If anyone knows, please let me know in the comments.
Today I went to a curry restaurant in Tokyo called Coco-Ichi.
It has about 1,300 restaurants all over Japan, and is well known to all Japanese people.
It's not that cheap, but you can eat curry at a standard price.
I ordered the seafood curry.
It is a curry with shrimp, clams and squid.
I topped it with cheese.
You may not be able to see the cheese, but there was a lot of it in the curry.
You can choose the spiciness and the amount of rice.
The spicy one is really hot.
I can't eat too much spicy food.
There are many kinds of curry.
From vegetable curry to meat curry and seafood curry.
The price is about $6 to $8.
If you add more toppings, the price may be a little higher.
For a Japanese person's lunch, the price is either just right or a little expensive.
Seats are often separated by a board like this due to the influence of Covid-19
Many Japanese are still worried about Covid-19.
Everyone is wearing masks. That is really ridiculous.
But it is nice to be able to eat without worrying about the person next to you.
As for the taste, it is really delicious.
It's cooked well, so it's thick and tasty.
But, well, my mom's curry is better.
You can't beat it.
If you ever come to Japan, you should definitely try curry.
Ramen, curry, tendon, sushi, you have to try these!
There are many other great places to eat, but today I've introduced famous ones.
If you have a favorite restaurant in Japan, please let me know.
Or you can just ask me!
See you soon!
I have yet to try the curry there, maybe I will. I’ll be visiting Japan this mid year so maybe I’ll give it a try 😄
